Oct. 17, 2011 - PRLog -- Versatile, light hearted, jovial - these are just a few of the qualifying words that can describe Mina's poetry. Having discovered and fallen in love with this art about ten years ago, his style and quality kept improving until he finally put together this complete collection, a collection he justifiably can be and is proud of. He lives in his poetry the reality of his family, the reality of his country, the reality of the world surrounding him and is generously sharing his impressions with anyone and everyone of his followers and readers.

About the author:

Harminder Nagi aka Mina is a male poet of Indian origin, now living in England. His passion for poetry started just over a decade ago. His poems have been published in the local newspaper. A few years back, when he saw one of his poems “Bye, bye summer” being published in the “Your Poems - Annual Publication”, that boosted his moral; since then he has started taking poetry seriously.

He has developed a vivid and light hearted style; there is no ambiguity in his poetry. With the gift of versatility, he has written poems on many themes. His jovial nature reflects in his humorous poems. His poem “Tom & Jerry” depicts the famous chase with hilarity. Another poem “Jack & Jill vs. Council”, based on the characters living in our modern society and suing the council after tripping over a cobble stone, is startling.

He gets inspired by anything happening around him, it could be about England winning the Ashes or about the path around the lake that he trudges during a stroll or the staff being laid-off at work. But the main inspiration has been his mother who passed away when he was eleven years of age. Some of the personal poems reflect his lonely childhood oozing melancholy.
He hopes that this book will inspire its readers.
