Follow on Google News | Rick Ross Reschedules Date Scheduled For October 23,2011 At The Nokia Theatre L.a Live For January 1Rick Ross’ concert scheduled for Sunday at L.A.’s Nokia Theatre is being pushed into next year to allow the rapper time to fully recover from seizures he experienced recently.
TruRoyalty Entertainment Vice-President Nieman Johnson’s comments “Our first thought was for Rick’s health and our pushing him to do a show that he was not prepared to do was not beneficial to anyone. We are sure that Rick will make a full recovery and be healthy soon but Los Angeles fans are so twitter and TMZ connected that they new about his health concerns even before we were aware. Especially in Los Angeles, convincing fans that Rick would make the show was increasingly difficult especially after last Saturday’s North Carolina date and Friday’s Georga State dates were canceled.” Rick Ross' agent, Miami-based talent agency, Total Access Talent, Inc. and Rick Ross Touring, LLC confirmed that the rescheduled date for January 13, 2012 concert is a go. Johnson Commented “We understand the necessity to rest for Ross also because with the release of his next album "God Forgives, I Don't" on December 13, 2011, he needs to be healthy and ready to support the album. We hope that the January date will not turn fans off and we know that they won’t be disappointed with the show the Rick will give them next year.” Additionally, the venue will honor tickets that were purchased for October 23, 2011 at the January 13, 2012 show. Tentatively as all management staff could not be reached, the supporting lineup for January 13’s re-scheduled concert will include Busta Rhymes, Y.G., Jayo Felony, Eric Bellinger, Pure Etc. and others.
