Rhode Island 11 Year Old Entrepreneur Unveils New Product

Oct. 26, 2011 - PRLog -- 11 year old entrepreneur, Stevie Marsocci delivered his new  PICK E PEOPLE invention to 2 exclusive local retail locations this week. Both Best of Rhode Island’s favorite gift store, Charming Treasures and The Village Drum will be carrying his very cool Pick E People Packets at retail.  Stevie began his fledging company Pick E People with a great idea, a modest investment from his parents and he has grown his assembly line with shear determination and elbow grease. His base of manufacturing is in his home with the assistance of his family. The company has strict quality control, as well as a rockin' point of sale designed for his retail locations.  His Mother Cheri Marsocci is very proud of his entrepreneurial spirit, and is pleased with his willingness to approach the local retailers to get his clever product in stores. “The only thing we did to get him started was purchase the initial packaging material and his website space. His creativity and drive to get this done was all him.” She continued, “My husband and I have always taught our children to buy local, support local shops, as well as be socially conscious  and we are quite proud, as both our children are dedicated to living those principles.”  Stevie’s Dad agrees but, adds that the idea is simply great. “I realized he had something when we each sat down with our Pick E People Packets and began industriously creating these very unique Pick E People.”  He continued, “It began as family fun and at the end of the day I hope Stevie learns about commerce, business, and charity while introducing a fun activity to other families with his terrific invention.”

When a asked how he picked his charity Strangeboat Organ Donor Foundation and Commemorative Garden Project, he said it was simple. “I read the story about Eamonn Goggin, a musician in Ireland who died in a car accident and his parents donated his organs. Now, they are working to increase awareness of organ donation and building a garden to honor all donors worldwide.  I thought it was a very good cause.”  Stevie is hoping for robust holiday sales. “I hope everyone likes my invention and buys some Pick E People for Christmas, Chanukah and holiday presents. You will have a blast!
