Lawyer Lloyd E. Bennett Elected to Serve as Chairperson of American Immigration Lawyers Association

Oct. 27, 2011 - PRLog -- In June of 2011, attorney Lloyd E. Bennett, Esq., was elected to serve as chairperson of the prestigious American Immigration Lawyers Association New Jersey Chapter after having served a variety of positions over the past six years.

The American Immigration Lawyers Association is comprised of approximately 11,000 immigration lawyer’s nation wide. The local New Jersey Chapter consists of more than 300 members in New Jersey

Every month meetings are conducted between AILA and various federal agencies relating to immigration and naturalization. AILA’s primary goal is to promote and establish justice, and advocate for fair and reasonable immigration laws and policy. As a New Jersey Immigration attorney, Mr. Bennett is honored to have been elected as chairperson of the organization as well as support their efforts through enhancing the awareness, application and objectives of U.S. immigration law.

The AILA’s strategic goals serve to increase awareness of the member of the United States House of Representatives, the Judiciary, federal agencies and the national media. The above efforts also increase the overall awareness of immigration-related interests for the member’s clients, as well as the society as a whole.

The efforts of the organization nationwide has created greater awareness of immigration law and their effects on the ground. In addition the organization is attempting to stop notary fraud and the unauthorized practice of immigration law.  Mr. Bennett is proud to be elected chairperson of this prestigious and forward thinking organization and he stands behind the aims of the AILA.

Through his dedicated service to the AILA, Mr. Bennett hopes to enhance U.S. immigration laws and its practical application in society as a whole. Furthermore, he will work towards educating the public about how immigration law serves the national interest by reuniting American families, protecting refugees and providing U.S. employers with the specialized skills they need to be competitive in the global market.
