Glass Doctor of Charlotte, NC Franchise Owner Wins National Leadership Award

Oct. 28, 2011 - PRLog -- Ed Sieber of Glass Doctor of Charlotte was honored with the 2010 Glass Doctor Excellence in Leadership Award during The Dwyer Group®’s 2011 Reunion held Oct. 19 – 22 at the Indianapolis JW Marriott.

“Ed is a shining example and should be for all franchisees,” Glass Doctor President Mark Dawson said.  “He has raised the bar on charitable contributions to the Ronald McDonald House®, takes time to talk to a new franchisee or a “future franchisee,” and he is always willing, able and ready to help in any way. This award is about a man who is a leader.”

The Excellence in Leadership Award is given to the owner who not only sets an example for his colleagues by conveying vision, participation and positive contribution, but also goes above and beyond the call of duty to help ensure their team’s success.

“It’s a privilege,” Sieber said. “I truly believe we are the best in the industry. It’s just exciting to be able to represent Glass Doctor and encourage others.”

Fellow Glass Doctor franchise owners recognized Sieber for his leadership abilities by selecting him to serve as a Regional Representative on the Glass Doctor Franchise Leadership Council. Council members work with the corporate home office to develop ongoing strategic plans and programs to benefit the entire franchise system. He also serves as the Glass Doctor representative to The Dwyer Group steering committee for the company’s involvement with the Ronald McDonald House Charities®.
