Excel High School Regionally Accredited by AdvancED, NCA CASI and SACS CASI

Oct. 30, 2011 - PRLog -- Edina, MN - Excel High School, announced today that after an extensive year long process, the school was awarded Regional Accreditation by AdvancED, the North Central Association CASI and the Southern Association of Colleges and Schools CASI.

The school spent the better part of 2011 preparing the school and staff to meet and exceed the 7-standards for Regional Accreditation, as prescribed by AdvancED; which are: Vision and Purpose, Governance and Leadership, Teaching and Learning, Documenting and Using Results, Resources and Support Systems, Stakeholder Communications and Relationships and Commitment to Continuous Improvement. It was clear during the onsite accreditation review that Excel High School had done a superb job attaining the operating levels required to achieve Regional accreditation. Excel High School was really given an opportunity to “show off” the many great aspects of the school.

Regional accreditation is highly sought after, and only colleges and schools that achieve the highest operating standards are granted this high level of accreditation.  Under the leadership and direction of Mr. Rod Clarkson, CEO, and Mr. Mark Ulven, Executive Director, the school was able to achieve accreditation during onsite review held during the week of October 24th through the 28th, 2011.
