Attorney Richard Colombik Speaks at Illinois State Bar Association

Nov. 1, 2011 - PRLog -- Chicago attorney, Richard Colombik of Richard M. Colombik and Associates, P.C. will be speaking at the (ISBA) Illinois State Bar Association’s annual Federal Tax Conference. He will be covering: Individual Income Tax Law. It will take place at: ISBA Chicago Regional Office, 20 South Clark Street, Suite 900. Chicago, Illinois, on November 4, 2011. Conference hours are: 8:30a.m. to 4:30p.m.  Mr. Colombik speaks from: 10:15a.m.-11:15a.m.
There will be 200 people in attendance. Mr. Colombik will focus on: recent developments in individual income tax law, including the legislative changes and relevant case law updates regarding the determination of income, deductions, exceptions, credits, alternative minimum tax, and capital gains/losses.
ISBA’s annual Federal Tax Conference gives a comprehensive overview of individual income tax; estate, gift and generation transfer tax; corporate and partnership tax; employee benefits; and the important ethical issues that are emerging in this field. The conference is designed for: tax lawyers, certified public accountants, business law attorneys, and estate planning practitioners. The conference also qualifies for CPE credit.

Mr. Colombik is a well known expert in the area of taxation and tax planning for closely held companies. He frequently speaks to group all around the world and is excited to speak to those in attendance for this event.  

Richard Colombik started Richard M. Colombik and Associates, P.C. in 1980. The law firm concentrates on Strategic Tax Planning, Asset Protection, Business Entity Structuring and Transactions, Complex Estate Plans, IRS Defense. He has been the Vice Chairman of the American Bar Association’s Tax Section of the General Practice Council, as well as the past Chair of the Illinois State Bar Association’s Federal Tax Committee. Mr. Colombik was the former liaison to the Washington, D.C. National Office of the IRS for the American Association of Attorney-CPA's Inc., is a member of the Asset Protection Committee, ABA, and is a member of the Offshore Institute.
