Neenah Taylor enters State Farm Hometown Hero Contest to perform @Z100-Coca-Cola Lounge

Nov. 2, 2011 - PRLog -- Native Baltimorean Soul/Pop singer Neenah Taylor enters the State Farm Hometown Hero Contest where the winner will perform at Z100 and Coca-Cola’s All Access Lounge event. The current resident of Los Angeles recently drew a crowd during a heart-stirring performance, with her band, at the Sherman Oaks Festival. Currently in the recording studio with Vegas producer David Adams, Taylor is aiming for a 2012 release of her debut album.

The Z100 and Coca-Cola All Access Lounge event is December 9, 2011.

Recently the singer/songwriter performed a 45 minute set with her band (Stewart Jean on drums, Mike Mennell on bass, Bob Emmet on keyboards, and Matt Waldrum on guitar) at the Sherman Oaks Festival in Los Angeles. The teen’s powerfully rich vocals draw one of the biggest crowds of the day. Taylor is currently in Vegas recording with producer David Adams (Face Productions), along with Los Angeles producer/songwriter Brandon Jarrett (MoHo Productions) for her upcoming debut album.

At 16 years-old Neenah Taylor’s voice garnered her awards at such prestigious competitions as the Atlantic Records Showcase and has performed as opening act for such high-profile artists as Trey Songz and Angie Stone.

Also an actress/model Neenah Taylor has appeared in commercials for Chrysler and Apple Computer, co-stars with Image Award winning actor Kadeem Hardison in the feature film Sister Switch and appeared in the movie Invisible Man. Neenah has also starred in musical stage-plays such as “The Wiz” and “It’s Not About You.”
