Fertility Preservation Network Sponsors Fall Cancer Fundraising Events

Nov. 14, 2011 - PRLog -- ReproTech, Ltd., a cryobank specializing in long-term storage of human reproductive tissue (sperm, eggs, embryos and ovarian and testicular tissue), was proud to sponsor the PurpleStride Savannah 5K on November 12 to benefit the Pancreatic Cancer Action Network (PANCAN). ReproTech's Fertility Preservation Network Manager, Joy Bader, and her husband, Bill, a seven year pancreatic cancer survivor, participated in the event with family and friends.

ReproTech also sponsored its St. Paul, MN office Site Director, Jill Olson, who participated in PANCAN’s PurpleRide Twin Cities on September 18.  Jill’s team, The Dollies & Rock-n-Janes’, whose members ride in memory of parents and grandparents who lost their battles with pancreatic cancer, raised over $4,200.00 for PANCAN, with the total amount of donations for the event surpassing $290,000.00.

ReproTech regularly sponsors or contributes funds to cancer fundraising events in the areas where its employees and three regional facilities reside, Ft. Lauderdale/Coconut Creek, Florida; Minneapolis/St. Paul, Minnesota; and Reno, Nevada. Previous cancer fundraising events sponsored by ReproTech, Ltd. include various Susan G. Komen for the Cure events, Lance Armstrong Foundation events and other local events benefitting cancer survivors and research.
