The KENO Micro-Fund to Host Week of Global Entrepreneurship Activities

Nov. 11, 2011 - PRLog -- Atlanta, Georgia November 11, 2011 –  During the week of November 13 – November 19, The Kid Entrepreneurs Need Opportunities (KENO) Micro-Fund will host activities to support Global Entrepreneurship Week.  The purpose of the KENO Micro-Fund is to help young entrepreneurs become successful business leaders and responsible global citizens.  With that in mind, the activities for the week focus on basic business development training and community service.

KENO Micro-Fund Global Entrepreneurship Week Activities
•   Sunday, November 13: Adopt a Highway Clean-up Project
1pm - 3pm
Meet in the parking lot of Paschal’s 180 Northside Dr. SW, Atlanta, GA 30313

•   Thursday, November 17: Business Plan Competition Deadline
Business plans must be submitted via the website http://www.kenofund.com

•   Friday, November 18: Founder’s Ball
Invitation Only Event Celebrating the 13th birthday of KENO Micro-Fund Co-Founder, Keno Lucas II

•   Saturday, November 19: 10 am – 2 pm
Douglass High School, 225 Hamilton E Holmes Drive Northwest, Atlanta, GA 30318-7421
Global Conversations a virtual panel will be followed by a Billionaire Boot Camp.  The top three selected entrepreneurs will also present their business ideas.  The winner of the business plan competition will be announced at the end of the day.
