Solar Road Studs & T25-CCTV Launched at Road Expo Scotland 2011

With an ever increasing need to switch off road lighting during night time hours to conserve energy and reduce costs, the Highways Agency, Local Authorities and Traffic Management teams are very aware of the problems which may arise as a result of reduced night visibility. Rennicks UK are always seeking to find innovative solutions and as a result will be launching a new range of solar powered road studs at the Road Expo, Scotland show. The SR Active Road Studs range offer a bright alternative to traditional cats eyes.

The battery powered, solar recharge T25 trailer provides a stable platform for the Award winning Wireless CCTV 3G Mini-Dome camera.

Designed as the world’s first and only 3G optimised board within the camera housing, the Mini-Dome boasts a low light sensitive colour camera with high-speed pan, tilt and zoom functionality and with class leading low weight and unlimited “no surprises” data package; the Mini-Dome can be viewed remotely and simply via any web-browser. It can also record data continuously or be programmed on condition-record basis, delivering high quality images upon demand.
