3-2-1-Acting Studios Adds Improvisation Master Class

Nov. 15, 2011 - PRLog -- 3-2-1- Acting Studios in Los Angeles adds an Improvisation class to its acting program.

On Thursday November 17, 2011, 7:00-9:00 p.m. , 3-2-1- Acting Studios will offer a FREE trial Improvisation class for ages 9 and up. Master Improviser, Will Doughty from "The Tonight Show " with Jay Leno and "Comedy Central" will teach.

"I have 15 years of Improvisation experience under my belt and just celebrated a 2 Year Anniversary of a weekly show I produce, Crashbar Improv.," says Improv instructor Will Doughty, and I am so excited  to teach my 8 week "Ready...Set... Improv ! A Master Class" at 3-2-1-Acting Studios."

"Ready...Set... Improv! A Master Class" promises to give young acting students unshakeable confidence.  "Actors trained in Improvisation are beyond confident because when they are confronted with the unexpected they are prepared and know how to make a scene work," say Ms. Mae Ross, 3-2-1- Acting Studios owner and director.

"Improv teaches actors to create full believable characers and to connect and trust their instincts. Improv requires actors to really listen to their scene partners, stay in the moment, and to recognize their true authentic self. Improv actors are eager to jump into any scenario and are not thrown off by any unexpected changes," explains teacher Will Doughty.

3-2-1-Acting Studios offers kids acting classes in Los Angeles (aged 5 to 25). Students learn skills such as: on-camera techniques, personality slate, TV commercial & TV hosting skills, cold reading, scene study, confidence-building skills, runway modeling, photo posing, and how to audition to book jobs.
