Michele Hobin Receives OSHA Trainer Certification

Nov. 15, 2011 - PRLog -- Maple Grove Enterprises, a custom metal fabrication and millwright company near Buffalo New York, has a new OSHA Safety Trainer. In October 2011, co-owner Michele Hobin took and successfully completed two OSHA construction safety courses: 510 Occupational Safety and Health Standards for the Construction Industry and 500 Trainer Course in Occupational Safety and Health Standards in the Construction Industry.

The 500 Trainer Course places special emphasis on topics required in the 10- and 30-hour programs, as well as on those that are the most hazardous, using OSHA standards as a guide. Course participants are briefed on effective instructional approaches and the effective use of visual aids and handouts.

Michele is now certified to teach the 10- and 30-hour construction safety and health outreach program to Maple Grove Enterprises employees, as well as other interested groups. Says Michele, "The training program was rigorous, but well worth the effort to be able to train our employees on critical safety issues."
