Missouri Venture Forum Announces 2011-2012 Board of Directors

The Missouri Venture Forum (MVF), a non-profit organization that serves as a catalyst bringing together the people genuinely interested in helping entrepreneurs, recently announced its 2011-2012 board of directors.

Nov. 16, 2011 - PRLog -- (St. Louis) – The Missouri Venture Forum (MVF), a non-profit organization that serves as a catalyst bringing together the people genuinely interested in helping entrepreneurs, recently announced its 2011-2012 board of directors.

Steve Thomas, The Net Impact President, was elected the 2011-2012 president of the volunteer business-based board. He succeeds Bob Calcaterra, Start-Up Midwest managing director, as MVF president.

“The Forum has traditionally benefited the entrepreneurs in and around the St. Louis region due to its members’ activities directed by a dedicated and high-quality volunteer Board of Directors,” said Thomas. “This coming year will be no exception.  We are blessed to have on our Board a great mosaic of professionals from a real breadth of business, mentoring and educational organizations that are bringing their collective experience and energy to the table.”

“Bob Calcaterra left the organization well positioned and financially stable.  It is our goal to continue the growth in membership and expand the activities of the Forum so as to have even greater impact on the region,” added Thomas.
