Deaundre Bonds Actor/ Rapper Back on the Rise

Nov. 21, 2011 - PRLog -- De’aundre Bonds began acting as a child actor at the age of 12 years of age. Raised in the poverty stricken neighborhood of South Central Los Angeles, he thought of a way to make money and express his inner feelings, acting. His first passion is acting. Deaundre has proven his self as a roundabout theatrical thespian. De’aundre has starred in movies such as, “ Get on the Bus” directed  by Spike Lee, “ The Wood” alongside with Omar Epps and Sinai Lathan, “Tales from the Hood” alongside Clarence Thomas. Right before his conviction Deaundre was offered by the prestige actor his self, Denzel Washington to play in the Oscar nominated movie, “Antoine Fisher”.

The story how he was convicted is a compelling one to listen too. He served 7 years for manslaughter. Over a confrontation he had with his aunt’s boyfriend, who was physically abusing her. Deaundre speaks at the Boys and Girls club as a teen counselor. He understands in being raised in a one parent home, that sometimes it can be hard to do the right thing when you don’t know where you next meal is coming from. But he says, you have to have determination and ambition to fight against all odds.

Deaundre’s message he would like to give to the media and his fans, is to never judge a person for whom they appear but the character that you have become. It takes years for a person to develop a character into who they should be, not what people want them to be.

The Gangster Squad is an upcoming crime drama film directed by Ruben Fleischer, and written by Will Beall. The film stars Ryan Gosling, Emma Stone, Sean Penn, and Josh Brolin. The film is set to be released on October 19, 2012 by Warner Bros. Pictures.
