The Legacy Senior Communities Women's Auxiliary Presents "The Yes! Event"

Nov. 21, 2011 - PRLog -- More than 650 guests attended the inaugural “The Yes! Event” luncheon at Westin Galleria hosted by The Legacy Senior Communities Women’s Auxiliary. The event featured keynote speaker, SPANX CEO Laurie Ann Goldman, and proceeds benefited The Legacy at Preston Hollow – Dallas Home for The Jewish Aged.  

Attendees of the luncheon heard the compelling success story of the shapewear industry dynamo Laurie Ann Goldman and how, under her leadership, SPANX has become a household word and one that often rolls off the tongues of today’s biggest celebrities.

“Women obsess over their imperfections,” said Goldman during the event.  “Men, on the other hand, think they are 100 sit-ups and a haircut away from dating Angelina Jolie. If we can help change silhouettes, we can help change lives and the way women view themselves.”
   
Guests had the chance to win luxurious raffle items such as three nights at The Reef Atlantis in a two bedroom condo, a VIP guest invitation for The Ellen DeGeneres Show in Los Angeles, gift certificates to gourmet meals at some of the area’s finest restaurants along with a weekend night stay in the Presidential Suite at Westin Park Central Hotel, an original steel sculpture by George Tobolowsky, Zerona body slimming laser treatments, a diamond necklace by Yard Necklace, 18 karat gold earrings from Bachendorf’s, and a 46” Toshiba HDTV. Each attendee also walked away with a $50 gift card provided by SPANX.
