NVE Bank Participates in the 13th Annual Walk for Awareness

Nov. 28, 2011 - PRLog -- Englewood, NJ, October 27, 2011- NVE Bank employees and their family members recently participated in the Englewood Hospital and Medical Center’s 13th Annual Walk for Awareness: Our Fight AgainstBreast Cancer and the Susan Lucianna Memorial Dog Walk on Sunday, October 23rd at the Medical Center.

NVE Bank raised donations for the cause through an in-house “Blue Jean” Fridays program plus the employee walker sponsorship donations.  NVE had over 35 participants walk in the 5K to promote the importance of early diagnosis.  The amount raised will benefit Englewood Hospital and Medical Center’s Leslie Simon Breast Care and Cytodiagnosis Center.  “We are very proud to be a part of this walk and be able to give back to the communities we serve,” said Robert Rey, President of NVE Bank.

NVE also sponsored two rest stops along the route.  Volunteers at the Highwood Branch located at 42 West Hudson Avenue and the Main Branch located at 70 Engle Street distributed bottled water and fresh apples to all participants as well as special treats for the dogs!
