PCB Inspection Class NOW Available as a one day practical review of how to inspect PCBs

This class is intended as a “hands on” printed circuit board and wiring inspection class which is a practical 1 day class where students will learn strategies for inspection and measure and discuss their finding on “live” product. This is a perfect addition to the IPC-A-610 inspection criteria class which gives the theoretical basis for inspection but does not offer any practical, hands on skills.

The topics of the class include:

Visual Inspection Strategies
Handling Electronic Assemblies
Magnification and lighting
Through hole inspection
Wire and terminal inspection
SMT inspection
BGA inspection
Leadless device inspection
XRAY inspection-transmissive

Candidate will have to demonstrate proficiency in each of these areas by reviewing PCBs after instruction to discover defects. This class a 1 day session with the prerequisite being that the candidate have a valid A610 CIS or CIT certification.
