About the Author,

Lawrence Babineaux, pen name Weedie, is a 1991 Desert Storm Veteran. Faithfully, he served his country in the United States Army.  Growing up in Houston, Texas, he is a graduate of Westbury High School. After graduating, he realized his love of creative writing. A fan of Urban Fiction, Lawrence soon took a chance and began creating characters whose lives reflected the grim reality of the substance abuse epidemic in Urban America.

As a father, Lawrence receives his greatest inspiration from watching his son grow.  His main goal now is to make certain his son realizes he can make his dreams come true in life. As a successful owner of two Car Care Centers, Lawrence has made good on his promise to set an example for those youth who wish to succeed as successful business owners.

In his spare time, Lawrence enjoys listening to the sounds of Chopped and Screwed Music, a subgenre of rap music whose roots began in the heart of Houston, Texas and has now become a new subgenre of Rap and Pop Music alike.
Mo Ghetto Love, and Drama Queen are the follow up novels to Ghetto Love that will be available soon.
