Peabody, MA Single-family Home Prices Down, Sales Up November 2011

Feb. 10, 2012 - PRLog -- The median price of single-family homes in Peabody, Massachusetts decreased in November 2011 while sales increased, according to data analyzed by Buyers Brokers Only LLC, the largest exclusive buyer agent real estate firm in Massachusetts.

The data were compiled using MLS Property Information Network, Inc, a local multiple listing service.

The median price of single-family homes fell 13.4 percent in November 2011 compared to the previous year, a difference of $43,500.  Single-family home sales in Peabody, MA jumped 188 percent in November 2011, a difference of 17 sales compared to November 2010.  

Condominium sales increased 133 percent in November 2011, a difference of four sales compared to November 2010.The median price of condos increased 39.1 percent in November 2011, a difference of $66,000 compared to the previous November.

Multi-family home sales in Peabody decreased 66.6 percent in November 2011, a difference of two sales compared to November 2010. The median price of multi-family homes fell 50.4 percent in November 2011, a difference of $290,000 compared to November of the previous year.
