Dec. 20, 2011 - PRLog -- HAYWARD, CA - BritePointe, Inc., a leader in extreme brightness solid state lighting, announced certification of all HyBeem lamps and fixtures to Underwriters Laboratories 1598 standard by MET Laboratories, a Nationally Recognized Testing Laboratory. The HyBeem BP400 generates a minimum 15,000 lumen output with an identical optical footprint and color temperature of a 400 Watt metal halide high bay lighting fixture. In addition, the HyBeem saves 65% energy when compared to a 400 watt metal halide high bay lamp and has over six (6) time longer lamp service life.
