PSOFT MOBILE Releases VirtuaBell Music Instrument App for iPhone and iPod Touch (Free)

Dec. 20, 2011 - PRLog -- PSOFT MOBILE, maker of the hit iOS app Zen Brush, is proud to announce the release of new free app “VirtuaBell” for iPhone and iPod Touch. VirtuaBell is a motion sensing musical instrument app where the user simply moves his device to play handbell melodies. It is particularly well suited for playing Christmas carols.

App Outline
"VirtuaBell" is a musical instrument app that simulates handbells. It allows the player to change the musical tone without touching the screen, allowing them to freely perform any melody.

Playing VirtuaBell is made fun and easy by taking advantage of the gyroscopic sensor available in the iPhone / iPod Touch / iPad. The app uses the gyroscope to calculate the position of the device. For example, the player waves the device on the left their waist to play a C (Do), in front of their right shoulder for an A (La), in front of their face for a high D (Re), etc... It's as if virtual bells were arranged in the space around the player, allowing them to play a variety of notes.

Making it possible to play the musical scale without touching the screen, "VirtuaBell" is a new era electronic musical instrument in its own right. Users can enjoy ringing the bells however they like, but with a little practice, they can quickly learn to play actual melodies.

* 19 tones: from B3 (low Si) to F5 (High Fa).
* Tones are changed using the device's gyroscopic sensor.
* Ability to stop the bell's ringing sound by tapping the screen (bell damping).
