Meineke Car Care Bowl of Texas Set for Kickoff at Reliant Stadium Houston, TX

Dec. 22, 2011 - PRLog -- The 2011 Meineke Car Care Bowl of Texas, the sixth edition of the game, will be a post-season American college football bowl game, held on December 31, 2011 at Reliant Stadium in Houston, Texas as part of the 2011–12 NCAA Bowl season.

This is the first year the game will be known as the Meineke Car Care Bowl of Texas. The game was previously known as the Texas Bowl in 2010 and is not to be confused with the previous Meineke Car Care Bowl held in North Carolina which is now called the Belk Bowl.

The game, which will telecast at 11:00 a.m. CT on ESPN, will feature the Northwestern Wildcats of the Big Ten Conference versus the Texas A&M Aggies of the Big 12 Conference.


To kick off the festivities prior to the game fans are invited to TexFest Featuring the Bud Light Stage.  Known as  the Biggest Pregame Party
