Residents and Guests of The Legacy at Preston Hollow Celebrate the Holidays

Dec. 22, 2011 - PRLog -- The residents of The Legacy at Preston Hollow, a family service-oriented community, invited family members and guests to join them in a holiday celebration. The community took on a winter wonderland theme, including poinsettias, beautifully decorated trees, and Chanukah décor as well.

“The Legacy is a Jewish-sponsored but multi-faith community, so we focus on blending our holiday celebrations,” said Jerry McDonald, executive director, The Legacy at Preston Hollow. “Most importantly, the holidays are about family. Here at The Legacy, we do not just serve individuals, but we serve and care for their families as well. The party was a perfect way of bringing everyone together to celebrate the holiday season.”  

Holiday music was provided by entertainer Donny Hall who had everyone singing along. Residents and guests also enjoyed festive cocktails, heavy hors d’oeuvres and desserts specially prepared by Executive Chef Abraham Pierson.

The Legacy at Preston Hollow, formerly known as Veranda Preston Hollow, is a 501(c)3 not-for-profit, faith-based senior living residence that offers a continuum of care allowing residents to stay in place with assisted living, short-term rehabilitation, skilled nursing, and long term care. Built in 2001, the community features 41 assisted living apartments, 113 skilled nursing beds and a state-of-the-art Medicare unit. The Legacy at Preston Hollow is the Dallas Home for the Jewish Aged and a partner agency of the Jewish Federation of Greater Dallas.
