Greenfield is working on the first of three screenplays based on his series of fantasy novels: Ruby Noone. Unlike many books in the fantasy genre, Greenfield does not rely on spells, dragons and wizards to create his other-worldly action - rather he uses cutting edge technology to bring magic to his inventive and captivating stories. Time travel, quantum physics and Soul Surfing feature strongly in the series, with the bizarre teenager BB heading a cast of characers that are set to inhabit our world for years to come.


Interviewed by Stroud FM presenter Dave Ireland on a recent 'Desert Island Discs' style programme, Greenfield said that ' I just want to write. The attention, the circus...it's just not me...'


The first movie is set for a Winter 2012 release. Simon J. Miller  to produce. Filming to take place in the UK, Australia and China
