Olvia Maxwell Radio Salon Launch February 5 on VNDC Radio

Jan. 7, 2012 - PRLog -- We are pleased to announce the hotly anticipated Olivia Maxwell Radio Salon hosted by actress and radio show personality Olivia Maxwell.

Olivia has a cult following from her previous radio show which was called The O Show and will be in the same popular format which is a talk show, interviews with rock legends, and a great ecclectic blend of music.  The O show had legendary guests Paul Morrissey, Richard Lloyd, and Alan McGee on the show.

The Olivia Maxwell Radio Salon will air on VNDC Radio WBIG FM 100.3 HD-2 and will be broadcast every Sunday night from 7pm - 9pm.  The show is also simulcast on the web and archived on the website.

VNDC Radio is a new station in the DC Metro area market which broadcasts in high definition (HD) primarily to and for the Vietnamese speaking community. Our area of coverage has a potential listener base of 100,000 people.  During peak hours VNDC has 6,000 to 8,000 listeners per show.

VNDC radio on FM 100.3 HD2 broadcast reaches a population of almost 100,000 people in the metropolitan area, while our internet radio reaches Vietnamese and American listeners worldwide. Our programs include the most up-to-date news and selected features including community information, music, entertainment, and shopping and of course the upcoming Olivia Maxwell Radio Salon.

When asked about her upcoming radio show Olivia said "The timing for me to be back on the air is brilliant cause my show is all about freedom of speech and expression with great music which we so need in such a perilous, freaked out world we are trying to survive in."

Stunning actress, singer / songwriter Olivia Maxwell, daughter of renowned film director Ronald F. Maxwell is re-igniting her career with an energetic burst back onto the scene.  Olivia was a VIP guest at the holiday gala on December 9 which was sponsored by VNDC Radio.

Musically, she has worked with legendary guests such as Frank Murray, Rob Fraboni, Frankie Gavin, Ger Kiely, Tamerlane Phillips, Naill Lawlor, Eric “Roscoe” Ambel, Jack Smead and Levon Helm.  Her acting talent has led her to roles in films such as “The Notorious #9”, “President”, “Gettysburg", Johnny X Rook’s “The Monarch of Eveningtime” in which she is featured as one of the stars of the film.

Olivia Maxwell was born in London, England on September 6.  An imaginative child, she thrived on traveling with her father Ronald F. Maxwell, and her mother Lydia Sopoliga  who is an is an accomplished painter.

Olivia attended the prestigious Berkshire School in Sheffield, Massachusetts followed by  the avant garde Bennington College in Bennington, Vermont.  After which she drifted onward to energetic places like Los Angeles, and spends her time in St. Martin, New York City, Dublin, and Washington, DC where she now resides.  In 2003 she met Frank Murray famous manager of the Pogues.  In 2007 Ms. Maxwell was the featured story in March 2007 "Totally Dublin".
