Jan. 6, 2012 - PRLog -- (LOS ANGELES, CA) Image Systems has announced that Incendio has purchased two Nucoda Film Masters along with Precision panels to integrate into their creative color and finishing pipeline. Colorists Clark Muller and Adolfo Martinelli founded Incendio, one of the hottest post production boutiques on the West Coast, in 2011. The well-respected duo has built a facility grounded in artistry and technical excellence, with a carefully designed workflow and environment for customers.

Incendio recently completed a broad spectrum of work on the Nucoda systems including spots, music videos, features, and public space installations. One noteworthy project was IBM's immersive media Think installation, displayed across 40 screens at the Lincoln Center in New York. Incendio was a crucial part of bringing this immersive media experience to life. The campaign focuses on why IBM solutions are the best, with the tagline: "It has been the way we think." Muller and Martinelli color graded the footage and provided graphic support with the Nucoda Film Master. At the conclusion of the project, thousands of visitors had stopped by and explored the visually engaging installation (http://www.ibm.com/ibm100/us/en/thinkexhibit/visit/).

With a robust credit list of high-end commercials in their portfolio, Incendio has also finished a number of spots and packages for leading agencies and clients including Kia for David & Goliath, Scion for ATTIK, State Farm for DDB Chicago, and Old Navy for Crispin Porter + Bogusky.  Additionally, the boutique post house provided their expertise and creative services on the feature film The First Time from director Jonathan Kasden, which has recently been selected for the Sundance Film Festival (http://filmguide.sundance.org/filmguide/search/the-first-...).

"The Nucoda Film Masters have enabled us to work creatively and efficiently," says Martinelli, co-founder of Incendio. "There is a technical platform and toolset in Nucoda that is, in my opinion, quite unique. It's not just the color correction, which is first rate, but the breadth of other functionality that give us the ability to go in and work on visual effects, finishing and image enhancement."

Muller adds, "When we were planning the facility, we wanted it to be a craft-driven, uniquely personal environment, and we wanted to have the finest tools possible. We designed our process to include the Nucoda and the Dolby Professional Reference Monitor as they complement each other beautifully." The choice of the Nucoda grading system was a natural one for us," explains Martinelli. "We looked at several systems and in our opinion the Nucoda Film Master gives us the tools to accommodate the various challenges that are presented to us on a daily basis."
