"Unmasking Lupus" Charity Gala and Silent Auction to be held March 09, 2012 in Las Vegas, NV

Jan. 17, 2012 - PRLog -- Colors of Lupus Nevada (COLN) will host it’s Annual “Unmasking Lupus” Fundraising
Gala and Silent Auction on Friday, March 09, 2012 at the Treasure Island Hotel &
Casino, Ballroom located at 3300 Las Vegas Blvd South, Las Vegas, Nevada 89109
from 6:00pm to 10:00 pm. The Gala will provide philanthropy, education and entertainment
while raising awareness and funds for the autoimmune disease Lupus.

The event will consist of a Cocktail Reception, Silent Auction, Awards Recognition and
Dinner. Gala attendees will enjoy entertainment by the talented Lady J Huston and a very
special performance by Singer/Songwriter/Producer “Gifted” Johnson to name a few.

2011, was an extremely emotional year for Colors of Lupus Nevada as the organization
loss it’s Chairman of the Board, Chef Beverly Lee as well as COLN members Robert Coleman
and Mary Delores Channakhone who succumbed to complications of Lupus.
Currently COLN has several members who are currently hospitalized in serious condition.
Several fundraiser events will be held this year to assist in the effort to make a difference
in the lives of those who suffer from Lupus and other related Autoimmune conditions.

By presenting the “Unmasking Lupus” Gala we hope to educate and unveil some of the
symptoms and traits that are often overlooked in Lupus patients and create strength in
numbers so that more people are aware of the condition while gaining public support in
finding a cure.
