7th Annual Women in Business Summit is “Taking you to the Top”

Jan. 9, 2012 - PRLog -- The Women in Business Summit (WIB Summit) is bringing together 12 talented presenters from Connecticut to Australia to share their knowledge on what it takes to make it to the top.  The economic downturn has left many of us wondering what to do next and how to compete in a continually challenging environment.  This event aims to provide information that will help women grow professionally and personally.

WIB Summit is taking place on Saturday, March 24, 2012 from 8:30am – 4:30pm at Travelers Claim University, Windsor, Connecticut.  The keynote speaker is trainer and coach, Gilda Bonanno.  Gilda helps organizations and individuals improve their presentation and communication skills for success. “She achieves these results by combining her extensive business experience with a background in improvisational performance and a belief that with the right training and practice, everyone can become a more effective communicator and leader.”

Each year the WIB Summit spotlights and supports a charity. This year My Sisters’ Place, Hartford, Connecticut is the selected non-profit.  “Since 1982, My Sisters’ Place has been a safe haven for those who are suddenly forced into the streets due to domestic violence, eviction, unemployment or mental illness.” More at http://www.sistersplacect.org/
