Fairlane Gear Inc. Introduces New Production Manager

Jan. 19, 2012 - PRLog -- Since 1964, Fairlane Gear Inc. located in Canton, MI has served the diverse needs of all sectors of industry, automotive and defense.  We are a family owned business, and have built the reputation for being experts in the field of gear manufacturing.  

We are proud and excited to announce that Lydia Ptak, granddaughter of founder Stan Ptak has accepted the position of Production Manager.  She had been working on machine operation and inspection in order to develop a deep understanding of the complexities of gear manufacturing in the plant, and now takes her knowledge to the front office.  

Lydia's responsibilities include scheduling, planning and tracking projects.  Procurement  of materials for jobs and communicating status of orders with customers are other job functions as well.

With Lydia's support, CEO John Ptak will focus his energy on customer service, quoting and process engineering.  

Stanley Ptak, grandson of founder Stan Ptak has been supporting production and attending college since 2010.  

We have shared decades of experience, expertise and now share a bright new beginning with our customers as the next generation continues the tradition.
