Book Too Risque For City Residents

Jan. 25, 2012 - PRLog -- A scheduled interview with the author,  j.a. kazimer, was cancelled this past week  by the editor of a local newspaper after he deemed the book’s title ‘inappropriate’ for the family oriented local newspaper.

And yet, in the last few years, publishing has taken a very different stance on literary profanity, selling books like Go the---- to Sleep, S**t My Dad Says, and now CURSES! A F***ed Up Fairy Tale. Booksellers and readers have responded positively by the use of literary profanity, according to the USA Today (27, October 2011).  

The author of CURSES! A F***ed Up Fairy Tale hopes the trend of literary profanity continues, and embraces being viewed as inappropriate. J.A. Kazimer hopes readers will too. “Censorship, in any form, can only hurt our country. In this day and age, we need to express our frustrations, and what better ways than through the use of swear words.”
