Jan. 25, 2012 - PRLog -- Awagami Factory papermill from Japan unveils their expanded range of BAMBOO Fine Art papers at Frankfurt's "Paperworld" fair January 28th, 2012.  With nearly 300 years of acquired knowledge, master papermakers at Awagami have developed additional new BAMBOO art papers for watercolor, drawing, and sumi brush painting........By adjusting the amounts of inner/outer sizing as well as the papers' surface, Awagami has expanded its unique line of eco-friendly bamboo papers....

As bamboo is one of the worlds fastest renewable fibers, Awagami is proud to expand this line of popular papers. Other bamboo papers on the market first import their Asian-grown bamboo to Europe or N.America to process (thus increasing their carbon footprint) negating the whole notion of bamboo papers 'eco-friendliness'.

Made with an mix of 80% bamboo and 20% recycled kozo (mulberry) Awagami's BAMBOO papers represent the finest eco-alternative archival papers for fine artist everywhere. Please contact us for further details or to find a distributor in your area.  Thank you/
