Quincy, MA Single-family Home Prices Drop, Sales Rise in 2011

April 20, 2012 - PRLog -- The median price of single-family homes in Quincy, Massachusetts decreased in 2011 while sales increased, according to data analyzed by Buyers Brokers Only LLC, the largest exclusive buyer agent real estate firm in Massachusetts.

The data were compiled using MLS Property Information Network, Inc, a local multiple listing service.

The median price of single-family homes fell 5.6 percent in 2011 compared to the previous year, a difference of $18,000.  Single-family home sales in Quincy, MA increased 2.9 percent in 2011, a difference of ten sales compared to 2010.  

Condominium sales dropped 10.6 percent in 2011, a difference of 29 sales compared to 2010. The median price of condos fell 7.4 percent in 2011, a difference of $17,000 compared to the previous year.

Multi-family home sales decreased 2.9 percent in 2011, a difference of three sales compared to 2010. The median price of multi-family homes fell 6.2 percent in 2011, a difference of $25,000 compared to 2010.
