Digital Impressionism by Lawrence von Knorr at Cornerstone Coffeehouse in Camp Hill, PA

Jan. 31, 2012 - PRLog -- Camp Hill, PA - The Cornerstone Coffeehouse at 2133 Market St. in Camp Hill, PA is featuring the artwork of Lawrence von Knorr, a pioneer in Digital Impressionism. Fourteen pieces by the artist are on display at the cafe, including three of his latest works.

Lawrence's Digital Impressionist works are photo-based images from his travels, digitally enhanced to resemble impressionist or expressionist-style paintings. Currently in the show are:

"Balance" (2012) - rocks carefully stacked in San Diego Harbor
"Amsterdam at Night" (2012) - night scene on Singel Canal in the Red Light District
"Victorian Garden" (2012) - backyards in Berkeley Springs, WV
"Harrisburg - Locust Street" (2010) - night scene on Locust St near Front
"Reading Railroad" (2009) - railroad tracks and old factories in Reading. PA
"Harrisburg - Walnut Street Bridge" (2007) - Old Shaky in the winter time
"Enola Bench & Wreath" (2007) - winter scene near Enola, PA
"Vietri sul Mare Portrait" (2008) - town on the Amalfi Coast of Italy - 1st Prize at Harrisburg Art Association in 2009.
"Naoussa Harbor" (2007) - Greek harbor scene on the island of Paros in the Cyclades
"Atrani Cliffs" (2007) - Italian town on the Amalfi Coast
"Amalfi Coast - Atrani" (2007) - Italian town on the Amalfi Coast
"Sorrento II" (2007) - Night scene on the Wildwood, NJ boardwalk
"Bad Wimpfen" (2007) - German hamlet
"Asian Bistro" (2008) - street scene in Georgetown,  VA
