SF Bulls Hockey Franchise Partners with Alaniz Marketing

Feb. 2, 2012 - PRLog -- San Francisco, CA—The San Francisco Bulls ECHL hockey team announced a partnership with Alaniz Marketing in preparation for their opening season.  Alaniz will be working closely with Bulls President and Coach, Pat Curcio, as well as Bulls Chief Marketing Officer, Marlena Aranda.  

“We’re excited to be a part of the Bulls franchise,” says Roxanne Alaniz, President of Alaniz Marketing. “There's a lot to do before that first pucks drops for the season opener in October, but when it does, San Francisco should be ready for a great time."

Alaniz is facilitating media partnerships and sponsorships for the Bulls and helping to increase public visibility as professional ice hockey returns to the Cow Palace for the first time in 16 years. “It's great to have Roxanne and her team on board. They’re committed to the team and are going to be a great addition to the Bulls organization,” said President and Head Coach, Pat Curcio.  

About the SF Bulls and the ECHL

The ECHL began in 1988-89 with five teams in four states. Today, the league has grown to 20 teams in 14 states. The ECHL will celebrate its 25th Anniversary in 2012-2013 and is the third-longest tenured professional hockey league behind only the National Hockey League and the American Hockey League. The ECHL is the primary developmental league for the NHL and AHL, and has placed 273 players in the NHL in the last eight seasons.

The ECHL has an Eastern Conference and Western Conference, and the Bulls will join the Western Conference which includes the Alaska Aces, Bakersfield Condors, Colorado Eagles, Idaho Steelheads, Las Vegas Wranglers, Stockton Thunder, Ontario Reign, and the Utah Grizzlies. All teams play a 72-game schedule.
