Film About Frank Myers Auto Opening Act For Superbowl XLVI

Feb. 4, 2012 - PRLog -- Following the success of its U.S. theatrical premiere and its television ratings smash, the film “Car Men” is now scheduled to debut on the grandest stage of them all...as the lead-in to the 2012 Superbowl on NBC!

“Car Men” made its worldwide television premiere on December 18 and the ratings were stunningly huge, especially for a documentary about a used car dealership.

“Car Men”, was shown on NBC affiliate WXII, delivered a household rating of a 1.9 – 1st in the time period with all the major stations.

Even more impressive: The documentary had an undesirable infomercial lead in and had tough competition on another network from an NFL pre-game show. Expectations were high that the film would perform strong, but not like this.

Because of those ratings, Winston Salem NBC affiliate WXII 12 offered the makers of “Car Men” the opportunity to be what is potentially going to be the lead-in for the most watched television program of the year...Superbowl XLVI.
