Kennickell Group Forms Venture with Coastal Marketing

Feb. 9, 2012 - PRLog -- Hilton Head Island, SC – The Kennickell Group, a global print solutions and marketing company based in Savannah, has formed a strategic joint venture with Hilton Head Island’s Coastal Marketing Services this week to expand a variety of direct marketing services in the South Carolina Lowcountry Region. The new venture will be called Coastal Marketing/Kennickell.
   
Al Kennickell Jr., president of the 120-year-old Savannah firm (founded in 1892), said the venture “will provide businesses and other organizations in Beaufort County and the surrounding area with better access to mass mailing services, fulfillment and an array of other print solutions that Kennickell now provides, and in turn will be able to take advantage of Coastal Marketing’s capabilities in marketing consultation, target marketing, data base management and data analytics.”
   
Coastal Marketing Services (CMS), an outgrowth of Hilton Head Market Research in the 1980s, is highly respected for its strategic targeting of households in the local market and its ability to develop successful direct mail marketing campaigns. The Hilton Head location will continue to provide short-run printing and direct mail services as well as provide a proofing office and drop-off/pick up location for work Kennickell’s printing plant produces in Savannah.
   
Al Kennickell said he is confident the South Carolina Lowcountry region is “poised for significant growth.” He noted that his company has been doing business on Hilton Head Island and in Bluffton since the 1970s, “and we now feel we should have an even more visible presence in that market.”
