Mumbai, February 10, 2012 – To combat the nip in the air, Fenix, the all day dining, world cuisine restaurant at The Oberoi, Mumbai offers diners warm and soothing soufflé delicacies paired with premium wines by the glass, from 10th to 19th February, 2012.

Derived from ‘souffler’ in French, soufflés are sumptuous bakes which elegantly rise in traditional ramekins. Guests can indulge in a selection of savoury and sweet soufflés, and savour them with a choice of premium wines by the glass.

The team of chefs at Fenix presents savoury classics such as Scottish salmon, tomato and dill soufflé with vermouth cream sauce, paired with 2008, Pinot Noir, Louis Jadot, Bourgogne AC, France; Osso Bucco soufflé with assorted roasted bell peppers, paired with 2007, Barbera D’Alba, Marchesi di Barolo, Barbera D’Alba Doc, Piemonte, Italy; and Gorgonzola gnocchi and sweet basil soufflé with Chablis white wine sauce paired with 2008, Mouton Cadet Blanc, Baron Philippe de Rothschild, Bordeaux AC, France.

The decadent sweet variety includes Coffee Almond Fudge Soufflé with Mocha Crème Anglaise; Grand Marnier and Blood orange soufflé with butterscotch sauce; Caramelized hazelnut gianduja soufflé with Kashmiri vanilla bean sauce; and the old favourite Sao Thome chocolate soufflé, with double chocolate fudge sauce, all paired with Special Cuvee, Bollinger.

Soufflés will be available at Fenix from 10th to 19th February, 2012, for lunch and dinner.

Sushi is available for Lunch from 12.30 p.m. to 3.30 p.m.; Dinner: 7.00 p.m. to 11.30 p.m.
