South Florida Businesses Donate More Than $7,000 of Glass Services to Ronald McDonald House of Miami

Feb. 17, 2012 - PRLog -- Glass Doctor® of Miami and LA Glass & Mirror Corp. teamed up to donate and install 30 custom mirrors worth nearly $7,500 to the Ronald McDonald House of Miami.

“We’re excited to be able to help such an important charity in a small way,” Glass Doctor of Miami franchise owner Pierre Mayrand said. “We’re so thankful LA Glass & Mirror agreed to donate the mirrors and help us make a difference in the community.”

Ronald McDonald House of Charities of South Florida and its cornerstone program, the Ronald McDonald House, has given families of children receiving treatment at local hospitals a comfortable place to stay during a stressful time for the past 30 years. In-kind donations, like the mirror installation, allow the House to focus on the most critical, day-to-day needs of the children and families undergoing treatment.

The shop will install the mirrors over three months, at a rate of ten mirrors per month starting in February.

“We’re proud to be able to fill a need in the community,” owners of LA Glass & Mirror Angel and Omar Leal said.
