Grand Opening of the Atakapa-Ishak Trail for Hiking & Biking

Feb. 18, 2012 - PRLog -- The Atakapa-Ishak Nation proudly announces the Grand Opening of the Atakapa-Ishak Trail for hiking and biking, as it prepares for its dedication by the Lafayette Consolidated Government at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday, February 25, 2012.

Parc Sans Souci in Downtown Lafayette will be the site of the event marking the dedication of the Atakapa-Ishak Trail at 10:30 a.m.

The Atakapa-Ishak Nation proudly asks you to mark this date on your calendar, as it is an event that is a long time coming. We are proud of our heritage and look forward to its future.
