Feb. 23, 2012 - PRLog -- The objective of this 45-minute complimentary webinar is to provide an overview of the latest trends and developments in sustainability communications and reporting. Reporting on sustainability performance has gained momentum over the past 20 years and has become a global phenomenon. However, the level of sustainability reporting needs to grow further if critical sustainability issues are to be tackled. The familiar saying “what gets measured gets managed” has never been more relevant.

A number of consortiums are calling for a greater level of sustainability reporting to ensure that global sustainability goals can be met. Recently, the Convention of Corporate Sustainability Reporting (CSRC) has called for a much greater level of transparency through sustainability reporting whilst the concept of Integrated Reporting has gathered pace with recent noteworthy reports being produced by Puma on their “Environmental P&L” and technology giant Apple’s supply chain report, whilst a growing number of organizations have begun to use ISO26000 as the foundation for their sustainability strategy and reporting.

This is an exciting time for sustainability reporting, organizations are being driven to take a clear stand and articulate their performance. This webinar will review and assess the progress of reporting to date and consider the future of this critical subject in corporate communications.
