"EXTRINSIC" a clothing collection and short film.

Feb. 26, 2012 - PRLog -- Inspired by opulence,  Hernández’ work  reveals a variation of woven fabrics such as imported gingham, tweed and herringbone. What will definitely set the new Collection for 2012 apart is the appearance of a short movie that will incorporate fashion presentation with film, set to debut as part of Boston Fashion Week 2012. The film is directed by the designer, with the collaboration of a select team that will be announced through the year.

The word "EXTRINSIC" represents being an extraneous individual, it is the interpretation of the designer to represent a person that has traveled from one place to another and finds it's self at extreme situations. "This year, I have chosen the title "EXTRINSIC" for my work," shares Hernández, "In part to acknowledge where I come from, where I have traveled and to share what I have seen, but most importantly to highligth where I dream of going"

"EXTRINSIC" will be the first of several short films that will eventually compose a movie. The project will depict the transition of the designer's  life, which began in a third world country, in the middle of a war between the Drug Cartel of Colombia and the government, to migrating to the United States at a young age, to  having the opportunity to work and study in Paris next to some of the most influential fashion Houses in the industry, to his most recent adventure in Amsterdam where he recently won first place in a competition among 72 countries and over 800 competitors.
