SAI Technology Selected by Tier-1 Customers & OEM’s for LTE Production Release 3GPP 9.0 Solutions

SAI LTE eNB Small Cell System Platforms support complete 3GPP 9.0 fully feature complaint software system solutions including L1, L2, L3, RRM and OAM to Tier-1 Customers/OEM’s using industry leading, commercially available, off the shelf CPU Platforms including: LTE UE and eNB full 3GPP Release 9.0 fully compliant software integrated on the Freescale PPC processors, TI OMAP processors, Cavium dual core processors/OCTEON processors, Intel processors, Marvel ARM Cortex based multi-core platforms and demonstrated LTE end to end Network applications: voice, data and HD Video in a multi-user and multi-cell handoff and roaming configurations.

LTE UE full implementation supported through the MIPS 34K Processors and delivered 3GPP Release 9.0 fully compliant Cat-1 to Cat-4 performance results.

SAI has completed several field trials with various vendors and partners and with a major network operator. SAI LTE UE, eNB L1, L2 & L3 stacks full IOT implementation includes UE, eNodeB and EPC solutions, demonstrated multi-user, multi eNodeB network architecture supporting major carrier network applications, including: voice, data, video and gaming applications.

The SAI LTE UE, eNB protocol software stacks are fully compliant with the 3GPP LTE Release 9.0 Spec (integrating PHY, L2 and L3, Application Layers, RRM, OAM supported) and demonstrated readiness for LTE Advanced (Rel 10.0 and beyond) features with FDD and TDD modes of operation. SAI LTE eNB stack already supports SON, advanced relaying and HNB, HeNB mobility of LTE advanced features. SAI expects to complete Release 10.0 full compliance by August, 2012.
