A Letter to my Mom and Dad on the Eve.

Feb. 27, 2012 - PRLog -- I just had this most amazing conversation with my parents Marilyn Leonard about me turning 40 tomorrow and they shared some cool things with me.

My dad reminded me that when he was 40 years old I was only 15. That made me want to cry... I thought damn how nice it was to be 15 and play ball with my pops. My dad now 65 can still ball just a little different... and as for me I can't ball anymore to many injuries. Oh well, dad it was alot of fun and thank you for hangin with me when you were 40 and hangin with me even at 65. Cheers to you pops!

How can that be, I know not.
But I feel the agony.

While speaking to my mom she gave me the coolest reminder... a gift of sorts. She reminded me that I will be in my 30's until 10:31 am tomorrow morning. We laughed together when she said that. My mom has called me at 10:31 am every year that I have lived away from home and said happy birthday over the phone. She never forgets... sometimes I have had to excuse myself from meetings because of it. Hey mom thank you for giving me the gift of life and for calling me at 10:31 am every year. It never gets old! :) a little thing that my daughter Gabriella and I share and that is we both were born... that's right 10:31 am waaay crazy cool. So, mom I will carry on the tradition someday.
