TRUNC will host Nevada Congressional District 4 Debate May 22,2012 6:30 pm.

March 5, 2012 - PRLog -- TRUNC to host CD4 Debate. The four candidates running for NV Congressional District 4, (added due to re-districting) are NV State Senator Barbara Cegavske, Dan Schwartz, Danny Tarkanian and Kenneth Wegner.The debate will be held on May 22, 2012, 6:30 pm.

TRUNC (TEA Party & Republicans Uniting Nevada Conservatives) believes it is important for voters to hear from the Republican candidates who are asking for their vote. Attendees to the debate will learn how each candidate stands on the issues before casting their vote in the June 12, 2012 primary. Having the candidates side by side answering a variety of questions will help voters determine the candidate that best reflects their values and stance on important Nevada and US issues.

The new Congressional District 4 seat, created as a result of re-districting, will be sought by both parties and will be a very significant race.  The Republican primary winner will face NV Senator Steven Horsford (D) in the general election. Both Parties are hoping to claim victory in the new Congressional District 4 Seat.

A panel of distinguished Nevadans has been chosen to pose questions to the candidates:
Geoff Lawrence of NPRI, UNLV Associate Political Science Professor David Damore, Syndicated National Radio Host Jerry Doyle, Niger Innis of C.O.R.E. (Center for Racial Equality) and Alan Stock of KDWN Radio. Mitch Fox, PBS Host of Nevada Week in Review will moderate.  

A straw poll will be taken on-site immediately following the debate to determine which candidate the attendees “would vote for if the election were held today’

The CD4 debate will be held on May 22, 2012 starting at 6:30 pm at ALIANTE CASINO + HOTEL | 7300 ALIANTE PARKWAY, LAS VEGAS, NV 89084. Tickets for the event are $25.00 for general seating and $50.00 for VIP seating.  In addition, tickets for an after debate party with the candidates is $25.00.
