Ed-tech educator to give tips and best practices for student response systems in the classroom

Based on the findings of his Case Study, Eric Hartman will speak to faculty and staff interested in getting the most out of in-class use of student response systems (clickers). This pedagogical workshop is intended for those who are new to clickers or looking for new ideas and best practices.  His ideas will provide tips and suggestions that can be used by anyone, including teachers, Media Lab Staff, adult educators, school staff and administrators.

• Increase student engagement in your course and learn how to assign credit for student participation and performance.
• Overcome challenges and common pitfalls of using classroom technologies.
• Improve your experience with clickers or facilitate their initial use in your classroom.
• Get empowered! Take your ability to use classroom technologies into your own hands!
