Trandahl lives in northeast Wyoming with his girlfriend and two daughters where he works as a staff writer for a newspaper. A very active poet and writer, Trandahl was previously a soldier in the U.S. Army working in Missile Defense, but he returned home to Wyoming to pursue his passion of writing. The realms of fantasy and magic have been a feature of his stories ever since his first reading of The Hobbit by J.R.R. Tolkien as a young boy.
