USDOT Household Goods Tariff Publishing, Bill of Lading, Order for Service, and More

March 6, 2012 - PRLog -- If you are a new or established interstate household goods moving company with a USDOT and MC number, you are required by law to publish a tariff and complete multiple forms for each move that you do.  These forms include, but are not limited to, the Bill of Lading, Order for Service, Inventory, and Estimate.

Tariffs must be published by each interstate household goods moving company.  A custom tariff will list the movers policies, rates, and other relevant and important information.  The published tariff must be kept at the movers office and be readily available for inspection upon request.
