Bouari Clinic NW Shows Support for Veterans

March 11, 2012 - PRLog -- Larry Stout, owner of Bouari Clinic NW and regional developer for Washington and Oregon, believes in supporting our nation’s veterans. While the staff in the three clinics opened around the Seattle area in February is small, one third are former members of the armed services, and Stout hopes to employ more in the future. All came from posting jobs through Operation Military Family.

Stout learned about Operation Military Family (OMF) when his general manager Elaine Morse became acquainted with the founder and president of OMF – Michael J.R. Schindler. Schindler posted the job openings on The Military Wire. The Seattle area is home to naval bases at Bremerton and Whidbey Island and Joint Base Lewis-McCord (Army and Air Force), as well as  National Guard, so many veterans stay in the area after retiring or being discharged from service. Stout received resumes from the Joint Base and National Guard.

“Veterans make excellent employees. They are highly trained, have a lot of self-discipline and are very responsible,” says Stout. “They show up for work and do their job. They don’t sit around but instead will take charge and keep themselves busy. They are pro-active and aggressive.”

He adds, “Veterans actively pursue excellence. They are able to see the big picture. And, because of their military training, they are very much team players. They will work with you to accomplish a common objective.”

Looking ahead, there are veterans benefit programs that assist veterans in starting small businesses, notes Stout. His goal is to work with veterans and the loan programs as Bouari Clinic NW expands so that veterans can eventually own and run their own franchises.
