Apriso Adds Alps Electronic Co, Ltd. To List of High-Tech Manufacturing Clients

March 14, 2012 - PRLog -- TOKYO, JAPAN – Apriso, a leading provider of manufacturing software solutions, today announced that Alps Electronic Co, Ltd., a global manufacturer of high-quality electronic components for mobile devices, home electronics, vehicles and industrial equipment, has selected Apriso’s FlexNet as its manufacturing execution system to streamline global manufacturing operations across 17 plants globally.

By implementing Apriso’s FlexNet, Alps will improve global visibility and control of its manufacturing processes across the Company’s global manufacturing network, which supplies more than 40,000 different components to about 2,000 companies around the world. FlexNet is expected to help Alps to reduce Work-in-Process inventory, increase paperless operations and standardize business processes across locations, helping to further improve efficiency.

Alps selected Apriso because of the Company’s unique experience and capabilities for supporting High-Tech global manufacturing initiatives. Apriso’s FlexNet helps improve global quality and product traceability by providing a manufacturing operations management platform for Alps to react faster to changes in customer demand for their product.
